Kayu Agung, 28 Oktober 2024 – SMK Negeri 1 Mepanga mengadakan upacara bendera untuk memperingati Hari Sumpah Pemuda yang dihadiri oleh siswa dan guru dari TK Negeri Mepanga dan MI Pasundan. Kegiatan ini berlangsung dengan khidmat di lapangan SMK Negeri 1 Mepanga pada Senin pagi. Seluruh peserta upacara, termasuk siswa dan guru, mengenakan pakaian adat dari berbagai daerah di Indonesia, yang menambah kesan nasionalisme dan semangat kebhinnekaan.
Upacara dimulai tepat pada pukul 08.00 WITA dan dipimpin langsung oleh Bapak Camat Mepanga, yang bertindak sebagai inspektur upacara. Dalam amanatnya, beliau menyampaikan pentingnya peran pemuda sebagai ujung tombak pembangunan bangsa. Dengan tema “Maju Bersama Indonesia Raya,” Bapak Camat mengingatkan bahwa meskipun perjalanan bangsa Indonesia sudah panjang, tanggung jawab besar untuk menjaga persatuan dan kemajuan masih ada di tangan generasi muda. “Indonesia akan terus maju jika para pemudanya berani bermimpi besar, kritis, dan penuh integritas,” ujar beliau dalam pidatonya.
Dalam amanatnya, yang beliau sampaikan dengan penuh semangat, Bapak Camat juga menekankan bahwa pemuda harus berani melangkah maju, tetap menghormati perbedaan, dan memegang teguh nilai-nilai kebangsaan. Sebagai generasi penerus, para pemuda harus siap menghadapi tantangan global yang semakin kompleks. “Tidak ada kemajuan tanpa pengorbanan dan kerja keras. Saat ini, bangsa kita berhadapan dengan tantangan global yang tidak mudah. Mari kita buktikan bahwa pemuda Indonesia adalah generasi yang siap bersaing, bekerja keras, dan siap memajukan bangsa ini bersama-sama,” tambahnya.
Para peserta upacara terlihat sangat antusias dan terinspirasi oleh pesan yang disampaikan Bapak Camat. Kehadiran siswa dan guru dalam pakaian adat dari berbagai daerah semakin memperkuat suasana kebhinnekaan. Ragam pakaian adat yang dikenakan memperlihatkan bahwa Indonesia adalah negara dengan kekayaan budaya yang luar biasa. Pemandangan ini mengingatkan para peserta akan pentingnya persatuan dalam perbedaan.
Usai upacara, acara dilanjutkan dengan pementasan drumband dari siswa-siswi SMK Negeri 1 Mepanga. Drumband SMK tersebut tampil dengan penuh semnagat. Penampilan drumband ini berhasil menyedot perhatian, tidak hanya dari siswa, tetapi juga para guru yang hadir untuk menyaksikan.Selain pementasan drumband, acara juga dimeriahkan dengan persembahan tari tradisional dari Sanggar Tari SMK Negeri 1 Mepanga. Sanggar ini menampilkan Stunning Nusantara yang didalamnya terdapat tarian Pontanu (Sulteng), Tari Lenggang Nyai (jakarta) dan Tari Kreasi Janger (Bali) yang menggambarkan kekayaan budaya Indonesia. Para penari menampilkan gerakan yang anggun dan dinamis, menunjukkan keterampilan yang luar biasa dan mengundang tepuk tangan meriah dari para hadirin. Pementasan tari ini menjadi penutup yang indah dari rangkaian acara peringatan Hari Sumpah Pemuda di SMK Negeri 1 Mepanga.
Sementara itu, salah satu siswa SMK Negeri 1 Mepanga juga merasa antusias. “Ini pengalaman yang luar biasa. Melalui kegiatan seperti ini, kami bisa mengenal lebih dalam tentang budaya dari berbagai daerah dan menyadari bahwa meskipun berbeda, kita tetap satu,” katanya.
Dengan menggelar upacara dan berbagai kegiatan seni, SMK Negeri 1 Mepanga berhasil mengajak para siswa untuk lebih mencintai dan menghargai keragaman budaya Indonesia. Kegiatan ini juga menanamkan nilai-nilai kebangsaan dan semangat persatuan di kalangan generasi muda, sebagai penerus bangsa. Semangat Sumpah Pemuda yang ditekankan dalam upacara ini menjadi pengingat bahwa persatuan adalah kunci kemajuan Indonesia di masa depan.
